Bob got a new job working for a subsidiary of Xerox just after we got back from our Honeymoon in October. He seems to like it a lot and has been enjoying working with his friends Jim and Dan ... it definitely makes a difference being able to lighten the load when you have fun friends around you all day.

The holiday party was held at the Blue Cross Arena where we were treated to a cocktail hour, and dinner before heading into the hockey game...all inclusive and a great idea for a party! Thanks Mindex!



After the party, we went out to Salenas to meet up with Karel and Erin. We're so lucky to have the friends that we do...I get so lonely sometimes working at home and really look forward to getting together with friends.

Myself and the two photographers I talked about before made our plan to go skiing together and had an awesome time!
We've been twice together now...The first time was Kristina's first time on the slopes, and she did great. I helped her with some tips, but she really took off all on her own. Heather is a snowboarder and is awesome at it.
By our second trip there together, we were tearin' it up!
The best part is that we get to go during the week when the crowds aren't there as much as on weekends so we had the whole mountain to ourselves...mostly.
Can't wait to go again!
Bob and I are taking Karel and Erin to Vermont in a few weeks too so we're really looking forward to skiing out there!

Our friends Karel and Erin invited us over for dinner...fish on cedar planks, and potatoes; both grilled on the grill ...even in the snow! We brought Buddy so he could play with their dog Chase...fun!
I brought the fondue...chocolate of course! Had a great time as always...love those guys.

Was invited again for another photographers luncheon!
Since I work alone, it's so nice to be able to catch up with colleagues who are in the same position...we all have photography and the business in common, and the more that I get to know them, the more we find out how many other things we have in common and really enjoy each others company.

I'm excited that two of the girls will be skiing soon so I definitely am looking forward to joining them on the slopes too!

I made chocolate covered pretzels this year... made them a little different than before ..with m&m's! I put them in santa bags and gave them each some treats to celebrate the holidays

Our first stop on the Thanksgiving train was Amanda's new apartment in downtown Albany. After all the years of Madison Ave. being my college getaway stomping ground, it was bitter sweet coming back to visit my sister Amanda's new place right where I used to hang out. I'm so proud of her getting her own place and really coming into her own. She decorated it really fun, even Buddy loved it! We got a quick tour, hung out a bit, and then she was off to visit friends while we made the rest of our way home to mom and Peters.


Thanksgiving day!













After dinner, we all played Wii...it was Peters first time on the Wii fit and as he skiied all over the Happy mountain we all watched with excitement for him...hooray for Wii ski!

The next morning mom made an amazing brunch and Matt came over with his baby girl Shayne...so cute! They grow up so fast!





mom has this new mini pancake maker ... you can stuff them with stuff!











Who needs snow anyways?


Later that weekend we visited with Carrie, Jim, Mickie, and Becky for Carrie's Birthday!













Happy Birthday Carrie! It was short, but always sweet!
