Happy Halloween !
Thursday, November 1, 2007, 3:04 PM
After the trick-or-treaters subsided, Bob and I headed out to our favorite hang out place, LUX.
We met up with our friends Karel and Erin and I befriended two new people that Bob knows from work.
We had a great time and it was so much fun to see all the costumes !
For some reason, we figured it would be slow on a Wednesday and no one would be dressed up...
OOPS ! So we used some props to make up for it
Lots of people and lots of costumes..we should have dressed up !!
Oh well... next year we'll be married ; and will hopefully come up with a great couples costume.
Hooray for Halloween !

Hurd Orchards and Human Body Exhibit
Tuesday, October 9, 2007, 10:40 AM
I'm very excited ! My friend Susan her mom Alene (Buddy's mom) and I are going to a luncheon on Friday at Hurd Orchards
I have pictures of it somewhere in the May section of the blog when I went to look at it with my mom as a possibility for our Wedding. We decided it was a little small for our guests and there is no lodging nearby so as beautiful as it is; especially in the Fall, it wouldn't be comfortable for everyone.
We're going to this event on Friday; even how they describe it is amazing:
Fall Foliage Luncheon
Friday, October 12th, 12:30 p.m.
The sun glinting between the barn boards highlights a glitter of golden and scarlet leaves dancing from the center bouquet in our barn. Aged wooden beams glow set against the treasured symbols of fall - warm maple - bronzed oak - persimmon bittersweet - apples in every shade of red -a garnet chrysanthemum - a pumpkin. All about us settles autumn in glorious shades and before us a magnificent meal, filled with an appreciation for the land.
Also, Bob myself and his brother Sam went to the Science Museum on Sunday to see a traveling exhibit of the Human Body...REAL bodies on display in various styles to show our inner workings. Amazing. No pictures allowed inside but here's the link to see some of what we saw:
