Had a wonderful visit with Sue the other day. We haven't seen each other in quite a while but it's amazing how we can just catch up like always. I've missed her but it's great to see what an imcredible mom she's become.





I know she doesn't recognize it because she's IN it - but she really is doing an amazing job. Nolan is an angel - he's so cute!




We visited for a while, and then eventually had some lunch together ( I brought Aladdins over so she wouldn't have to worry about making anything )



Naptime while mommy and I sit out by the pool for a bit.

My dad goes to Niagara On the Lake , Canada every year for the Shaw Festival. I decided this year to visit him up there since it's just a few hours away. It was a perfect day - sunny and 70's.
I was so happy to see him and Pat waiting for us outside when we arrived. We had a wonderful lunch together, walked around taking in all the sights of gorgeous flowers, and cute little shops.






We did some catching up, and then they headed off to a play for the afternoon.



Bob and I stayed for a while and did some more sight seeing before we headed out of town.

Woah, look at these BUGS! When I turned the corner of this shop and saw these bugs encased in the glass I couldn't even believe it...So cool!



They had fresh steamed corn at the festival too and everyone was walking around with it so we had to try it...mmmmm soooo awesome...delicious!



Thanks for the visit Dad and Pat - we had a great time, and were very happy to spend some time with you!

Bob helped to create a website for me that will hold a gallery of pictures from our trip.
It starts out with my friend Mickie arriving here in Rochester from Albany NY. The day she arrived we headed out to the
Corn Hill Arts Festival
The next day the two of us headed to
Stony Brook State Park
...and Bob met us out there the next day. (He stayed home to watch the final World Cup game - Italy won!!
:)

On our way home at the end of the week, Mickie and I visited Letchworth State Park. We headed all the way to the back to the Inn, got some pictures by the big falls, and then headed back towards the entrance (stopping many times along the way) to use their awesome Olympic sized pool...perfect hot day to enjoy some sun and refreshment.

The evening of our return back to Rochester, we definitely wanted to go out for dinner - for something other than chicken burgers and hot dogs. We took her to Aladdins for one of her favorite dishes, Tortellini with Vodka sauce.
From there, I finally got to take her to Marge's. I knew she'd love it!

My dad went out to Colorado to visit his sister and their family recently, and they went White Water Rafting through the mountains!



And yes, my dad DID fall out of the raft after they hit an unexpected rock! Everything was fine though...he was protected from the cold water (about 40 degrees) with his wet suit and they were able to pull him back into the boat.
phew!
I can't believe that happened to him - he loved telling the story about it too as you can imagine...
